Certification Requirement: For the safety of our customers and technicians, and to ensure compliance with industry standards and manufacturer requirements, proof of a valid Open Water certification (or equivalent) is required before any service or maintenance can be performed on diving life support equipment.

Regulators Inspection

 • Regulators are life-support equipment that deliver breathable air

Overhaul

 • Per Stage: $15

 • Full Face Mask: $25

 • Air2/Air Source: $25

Every 2 years or 200 dives

 • Disassemble 1st & 2nd stages

 • Clean components

 • Install new service kits

 • Reassemble 1st & 2nd stages

 • Set/adjust intermediate pressure

 • Tune 2nd stages

 • Perform final inspection & tests

BCDs

 • BCD: $65

 • BCD with Air2/Air Source: See "Regulators" section for breakdown

Annually

 • Check condition & appearance

 • Clean & desalt BCD/bladder

 • Perform 10-min blowby & air hold test

 • Test inflator, deflator, & overpressure valves for proper function

 • Ensures proper buoyancy control 

 • Reduces risk of equipment failure

 • Identifies wear, damage, or leaks before they become serious issues

 • Keeps BCD & bladder clean by removing salt, debris, & mold buildup

 • Extends BCD life & reliability

Computer / Transmitter

 • Battery Change: $25

 • Pressure Pot Test Dive: $25

Annually

 • Inspect overall function & reliability

 • Test battery condition & life

 • Replace battery if needed

 • Ensures accurate depth, time, & dive data

 • Critical for safe dive planning & monitoring

Cylinders Visual Inspection

 • Per Cylinder: $35

 • Doubles: $95

Annually

 • External check for dents, cracks, corrosion

 • Internal inspection for rust, pitting, contamination

 • Inspection of neck threads & valve

 • Clean interior if needed

 • Remove, inspect, clean, & reinstall valve

 • Replace O-rings

 • Air fill

 • Ensures cylinder is safe to fill & use

 • Detects internal corrosions, cracks, or damage early

 • Prevents tank failure or rupture risks

 • Meets industry safety standards & fill requirements

 • Extends cylinder lifespan & reliability

Visual Inspection & Hydro Testing

 • Per Cylinder: $95

 • Doubles: $235

Every 5 years

 • Remove valve & prepare cylinder

 • Deliver to certified hydrostatic testing facility

 • Inspect for expansion, deformation, & structural integrity

 • Perform visual inspection & reinstall valve with new O-rings

 • Air fill

 • Verifies cylinder strength under high-pressure conditions

 • Detects structural weakness

 • Prevents catastrophic tank failure

 • Confirms cylinder is safe for filling & continued use

O2 Cleaning / Overhaul

 • Per Valve: $50

 • Per Cylinder: $75

Required for Nitrox

 • Disassemble & degrease cylinder & valve parts using O2 safe cleaning agents

 • Clean threads, valve body, & all components to O2 standards

 • Reassemble using oxygen-compatible lubricants & O-rings

 • Removes oils, grease, & contaminants that can ignite under high O2 pressure

 • Reduces risk of fire or explosion in O2-rich environments

 • Maintains compliance with O2 service safety standards

Dry Suit

 • Inspection: $125

 • Exhaust/Inflator Overhaul: Hourly Rate

 • Latex/Rubber Neck Seal: $100

 • Latex/Rubber Wrist Seal: $50 per seal

 • Silicone Neck/Wrist Seal: $30 per seal

 *Some dry suit services will require special quotes (i.e. Pee valves). Please contact the shop.

As needed

 • Inspect exterior/interior for cuts, abrasions, seam damage

 • Check zipper condition & lubricate if needed

 • Inspect seals for cracks or wear

 • Inspect valves for proper function

 • Replace/patch damaged components

 • Prevents leaks to maintain thermal protection & diver comfort

 • Identifies damage or wear before it becomes a failure underwater

 • Ensures seals, zippers, & valves are functioning properly

Misc. General Labor / Troubleshooting  • Hourly Rate As needed

 • For equipment not picked up within 30 days of completion notification

 • Equipment left more than 60 days will be considered abandoned property

These costs do not include parts or service kits. We try to keep a variety of service kits at the shop, but turn around time is subject to parts on hand and seasonal demand. Ordering parts can take additional time and is out of our control due to manufacturing parts availability. We will notify you in the event that extra time is needed to complete your equipment service.


TURNAROUND TIMES

Turnaround times vary based on seasonal demand, the type of service being performed, and parts availability.

Typical Turnaround Times:

  • Winter: Approximately 2 weeks for most standard service and repairs
  • Summer: Due to increased demand, turnaround times are typically 3 plus weeks

 

FRONT OF THE LINE SERVICE

Need your gear serviced fast? Our Front of the Line priority service moves your equipment to the top of our service queue for an additional $75.00 fee. 

Please note:

  • Customers requesting expedited or ASAP service will automatically be charged the Front of the Line fee 
  • Priority service moves your equipment ahead in our queue, but turnaround times cannot be guaranteed if parts must be ordered or extensive repairs are needed
  • We recommend dropping off your equipment at least one month prior to your trip. This gives our technicians ample time for service - and you time to test your gear in the water before you go!

 

DIVING OR TRAVELING SOON?

To avoid delays, we recommend bringing your equipment in for service at least 30 days before your trip, class, or dives.

This provides time for:

  • Scheduled maintenance and repairs
  • Ordering any necessary parts
  • Testing your equipment in the water
