Open Water Scuba Diver
This globally-recognized certification program is the best way to begin your life-long adventure as a certified scuba diver. Three classroom training sessions are combined with 3 practical sessions in our indoor heated pool to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater. You will then be ready to complete 4 Open Water Dives after which you will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification! Requirements:
- Minimum Age: 10
- Certification Prerequisites: None
- Academic Sessions: 3 In-Person or virtual
- Pool/Confined Water Sessions: 3
- Open Water Dives: 4
- Maximum Training Depth: 18 meters / 60 feet (age 12+)
- Suggested Duration: 16 - 32 hours
Required Gear:
This course includes the use of our Buoyancy Control Device (BCD), Regulator, and Wetsuit. You are required to purchase the essential personal equipment needed for diving at our retail store (cost approx $200-500 depending on your gear selection). this includes:
- Mask

- Boots
- Gloves
- 2 Mouthpieces
Fitting Recommendations:
We highly recommend that you get fitted for all your gear in-store. it's important to make sure it's a secure fit that will improve your diving experience.
