Enriched Air Nitrox
You no longer have to make a choice between safety and longer dive times – nitrox is the key. This is our most popular specialty program, and it will teach you everything you need to know about enriched air nitrox. This program is also a prerequisite for getting involved in Technical Diving.
Have you ever dreamed of having longer no-decompression limits to take pictures or explore a wreck? Did you ever want to be safer while diving concerning the potential risk of decompression sickness? Nitrox is the key. Due to the reduced fraction of nitrogen in your breathing gas, your body will have less work and the desaturation times will be reduced. In your enriched air nitrox class you will learn all the necessary rules for planning dives with nitrox and using nitrox in a safe way.

Deep Diving (Ages 15+): The Deep Diving Specialty will teach you all you need to dive to depths between 60 and 130 feet, through a mixture of academic sessions and open water dives. You will learn to plan and safely complete your deep diving adventures, and use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most from your deep dives.
Wreck/Advanced Wreck Diving (Ages 15+): In Wreck Diving, you will be taught how to safely conduct non-penetration dives around wrecks and artificial reefs, up to a depth of 30 meters, and complete 2 dives around the perimeter of a wreck. Advanced Wreck allows limited penetration within the daylight zone into wrecks with an overhead environment. The training required for this type of diving is overhead buoyancy control (We recommend taking a Perfect Buoyancy class), new finning techniques, optional laying safety lines, and the proper use of lights.
Decompression Diving (Ages 16+): The Decompression Diving Specialty will teach you how to dive beyond the no-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and conduct dives to a maximum depth of 130 feet with limited decompression using your recreational total diving system and a single decompression cylinder. You will learn and practice how to effectively use your dive computer features, including switching gases, gas integration and time-to-surface. Using these computer functions will become second nature, enabling you to safely conduct dives with limited decompression without hours of dive planning. The opportunities to expand your diving adventures have just got bigger!
Please note: Some courses have other prerequisites or required equipment that is necessary to complete the class. Please see the "prerequisites" and "required equipment" tabs for each individual class for more details.
