Intro to Tech Pathway

Our Intro to Technical Diving Pathway is the perfect starting point for divers who want to transition from recreational to technical diving. This pathway provides you with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to dive safely and effectibely in more complex and challenging underwater environments.
Whether you're interested in exploring deeper wrecks, caves, or diving with specialized equipment, this pathway will prepare you for advanced dive techniques and open the door to a wide array of exciting dive opportunities!

The bundle fee ($1,100) includes the following:
- Digital learning material, course registration, and certification fees for SSI
- Lifetime access to SSI's digital learning material, digital logbook, digital certification cards, dive tables, and more
- Certification in the following courses:
- Hard copy of your certification cards
Students must meet the following requirements to sign up for the Intro to Tech Diver Pathway:

Must be 10 years or older to start the program

Certified as an Open Water Diver

Have signed and uploaded all of the forms to your SSI profile with a clear Diver Medical Statement Questionnaire or a physician sign-off prior to your first pool session. Please do not wait until the last minute to fill out these forms in the event you have to schedule an appointment with your physician

This course does not include the use of our rental equipment (BCD, Regulator, Weights, Cylinders, and Wetsuit), but they will be availble to rent. You are required to purchase/have the essential equipment listed below:
- Primary and secondary lights
- Locator light
- Manual Compass (Computer consoles or dive slates with a manual compass are acceptable)
